Climate& Energy Justice

We mobilize communities to confront the realities of climate change droughts, floods, and energy poverty and push for women-centered clean energy solutions like solar, biomass, and improved cookstoves. We also challenge fossil fuel expansion and destructive development models that harm ecosystems and livelihoods.

women security
Women, Peace & Security

We advance women’s leadership in peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and recovery. Through training, advocacy, and local action, we ensure women’s voices shape Uganda’s peace agenda in line with UNSCR 1325.

Youth engagement
Youth Engagement Programme

We work with schools and universities to inspire young people as climate champions. Through tree planting, plastic reduction campaigns, and Climate Justice Clubs, students learn to turn environmental awareness into real-world action.

women economic empowerment
Women’s Economic Empowerment

We train and organize women to access financial services, own land, and build income-generating activities through VSLAs. Empowered women reduce dependency, combat gender-based violence, and strengthen community resilience.

capacity building
Capacity Building Enhancement

We run fellowships and academies that upskill young women in digital media, environmental advocacy, and sexual and reproductive health rights — empowering them to tell their own stories and influence policy.

fem campaigns

The relationship between extractives industry and women is complex, with the extractive sector often negatively impacting women through land displacement, loss of livelihood, and gender based Violence leaving women and youth out of decision-making processs thus its crucial to promote gender equality, increase women's participation, and advocate for equal rights in the extractives industry . These efforts are crucial because investing in women leads to better outcomes for their families and communities.

Our Legacy

Decades of Trusted Excellence

Empowering women to lead environmental initiatives not only strengthens communities but also promotes more equitable and lasting ecological solutions. Women often possess deep, generational knowledge of their local environments through their roles in agriculture, resource management, and community care. By recognizing and amplifying their leadership, we can create sustainability models that are inclusive, innovative, and deeply rooted in community resilience.

Support empower women to build a greener, more sustainable future for all.
